This week’s FFWD recipe was olive and cheese bread, but the thing is I have learned from recipes past that we dont like olive tapenade and I forgot to get the basil, so we just made cheesy bread!
I just happened to have four different cheeses in the fridge from various meals throughout the week and plenty left to make all sorts of different blends to put in the bread, so we just put a little of everything! It included, feta, mozzarella, fresh parmesean and sharp cheddar.
To me, it tasted a bit overbaked – but it did taste cheesy and with the right pasta dish, this could be a really perfect treat! Not sure that I will be baking this one again without making a couple adjustments, but Mei really loves it and has been snacking on it since it came out the oven a couple days ago!
